There are many "unknown territories" in the history of the Spanish Civil War. This is caused by contradictions in sources and studies on the topic, especially concerning such important areas as the land question, ownership structure or the ethnic minority issue. Similarly sometimes prejudice against anarchists, POUM and other organisations have a role.
